You can make a difference!

The Helpers Training will prepare you to help other people who have an interest in quitting tobacco. Four out of five people who attempt to quit receive little to no support. Without support, only about 5 to 7 percent will meet their goal. However, even a brief conversation with a prepared person can substantially increase someone’s chances of success.

Your own experience in quitting can serve as a starting point for others to explore their interest. The Helpers training will teach you techniques that help people in their journey toward a healthier future and will provide you with useful handouts and information on the resources available to people with an interest in quitting.

Being prepared to help others become free from tobacco, and helping others when the opportunity arises, can reinforce your commitment to staying quit.

After completing the Helpers training, you will have the skills and resources to offer help no matter how near or far someone is from stopping! Sign in to start or continue your training.
